Q2: Are there any Authorized GelinAbaci jewelers outside the United States?
A. At this time GelinAbaci only sells to jewelers in the United States. Please check online for an Authorized Jeweler that has our products shown on their website, as many jewelers have an excellent website, and work with consumers all over the world.

Q3: Can a consumer purchase directly from GelinAbaci?
A: GelinAbaci products can only be purchased through our Authorized Jewelers.

Q4: What if there is no Authorized Jeweler within 100 miles from where I live?
A: Please check online for an Authorized Jeweler that has our products shown on their website, as many jewelers have an excellent website, and work with consumers throughout the United States

Q5: Do you have a matching band for my tension ring?
A: Some Tension rings have matching bands. For those styles that do not have matching bands, please contact your Authorized GelinAbaci Jeweler to specially create your matching band.

Q6: How secure is a Tension Set Diamond?
A: The amount of pressure applied to the girdle of the center stone is 65 to 95 lbs. Diamonds mounted in Tension Rings are at least as secure as four prong settings.

Q7: Can a Tension Ring be sized?
A: Due to the manufacturing process of Tension Settings, many styles can be slightly adjusted. GelinAbaci offers a sizing program for styles that require more than a minor adjustment. Please contact your Authorized Jeweler for details regarding the sizing program.

Q8: How long does it take to manufacture a GelinAbaci Tension Ring?
A: Delivery time for Tension products is approximately three weeks. Rings that require major modifications may take longer

Q9: What precious stones can be Tension Set?
A: GelinAbaci recommends setting the following:

  • Diamonds
  • Rubies
  • Sapphires

Any stone with hardness of 9 or above can be Tension Set.

Q10: What size precious stone can be Tension Set?
A: GelinAbaci has set as small as a 10-point stone, and as large as a 10-carat stone.
